A thorough and detailed check of your eye health, using the latest in diagnostic technology: Optomap retinal photography, an OCT scan, pressure readings to check for signs of glaucoma, and visual fields testing.
45 minutes to an hour

The Optomap gives a 200 degree image of the retina, showing over 91% of it, compared to just 15% with standard retinal photography. With an OCT scan, we can detect certain eye conditions up to four years earlier.

A wide range of contact lenses suitable for special events, daily wear, sports or holidays, including options for children. A new contact lens fitting is £80. Aftercare appointments are £50.

We offer various myopia control solutions for children, including myopia control spectacle lenses and contact lenses. All our optometrists and dispensing opticians are trained in this treatment.

Sit down, enjoy a hot or cold drink from the ASK menu, and we bring the glasses to you. Your prescription, facial features, lifestyle and personality are considered before we recommend anything. Frames from £200.

Bespoke lenses measured with 0.1mm accuracy on our Nikon Fitmax, with a variety of tint combinations. As a Nikon lens partner, our lenses are made locally in Milton Keynes.

Founder and Optometrist
Our founder, Arjan S. Kalsi, has ushered in a new era of luxury vision care. After earning his bachelor's degree in Optometry, Arjan quickly became the lead optometrist at a well-respected high-street practice. His dedication and expertise led to the creation of ASK Opticians, an independent business. Arjan, dreamt of starting ASK Opticians since he was 16, he always wanted to create something that aligns with his love for fashion and healthcare.

Clinical Director & Co-Owner
Aanchal is the Clinical Director of ASK Opticians. She started her optical journey by studying Ophthalmic Dispensing at Anglia Ruskin University. After earning her degree, she pursued further education at the University of Hertfordshire, where she obtained her Master's degree in Optometry. Aanchal has amassed extensive clinical experience working in high-street practices in London. She continues to enhance her clinical knowledge by completing professional certificates in glaucoma and medical retina.

Yes. Our customers travel to us from across Milton Keynes, surrounding towns and further afield. You do not need to live locally to arrange a private eye examination or an eyewear appointment. All visits take place at our practice in Woburn Sands.
